To cater the need of cardiac services in eastern UP, Heart Care Centre was inaugurated at Surya Super Speciality Hospital, Varanasi in association with Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.

Renowned Cardiologist and Director Of Cath Lab at Max- Dr Viveka Kumar and Dr. Rajneesh Malhotra from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket inaugurated the heart center.

As part of this association, various super specialists from Max including Dr. Vivek Kumar, Director Cath Lab at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket will be conducting cardiac OPD along with cardiac procedures like Angiography and Angioplasty at the Heart Care Centre of Surya Super Speciality Hospital. There would also be a full time Intervention Cardiologist from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket present at Surya Super Speciality Hospital to conduct follow up for the patient and provide emergency services along with regular consultation. Every day from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM in the morning and 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM in the evening.

Free Ortho Camp: Two days (21st October and 22nd October) free health camp was organized at Surya Super Speciality Hospital offering consultation by super specialists- Dr. Shankar N Kashyap - Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. G S Roysam - Orthopaedic Surgeon, FRCS, Consultant Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgeon and Dr. Sushma Shankar - General Surgeon from Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear, UNITED KINGDOM

Patients suffering from knee and hip joint disorders were advised to undergo replacements. The objective of this camp was to create awareness for proper treatment and care of bone health.
 

In order to prevent the members of Benaras Club from being prey to cardiac problems, a health camp was organized by Surya Super Speciality Hospital in association with Consultants from Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi exclusively for the Benaras Club members on 24th November, 2013.
The objective of this camp was to make people aware of threat of cardiac diseases due to changes in lifestyle. People of all age groups attended the free check up camp, where their ECG tests were also done. Avoiding high cholesterol based fast food was recommended.

At this camp more than 325 patients were registered and benefited. The services offered were free consultation by Dr. Atul Kumar, Dr. Tariq Abdul Halim, Dr. Indu Singh and Dr. A.K. Singh.

Among the diagnostic services offered were Echo, ECG Screening, Blood Sugar.
